Hello, my name is Aina Akmal. I help my clients by translating documents and subtitles from English to my native language, Malay (I can do jawi too!). My area of specialisation is general text, technical, engineering and life sciences and I am also a published translator for three books.
My clients can expect me to finish translating 1800-2000 words in 24 hours with accurate word choice, the right selection of grammar and sentence structure without neglecting the overall text meaning. I use Wordfast, Trados Studio and Subtitle Edit as my CAT Tools.
Since most of my works are private and confidential, my portfolios consist of works similar to the real works I am working on.

How to engage my services?
First, you can e-mail nuraina.eztranslation@gmail.com requesting a quotation, stating the word count, type of documents, and details of the job. To avoid confidentiality issues, I am willing to sign NDA provided by your team.
I will only provide quotations after understanding all details required for the job, including the user guide I have to refer to before starting to translate any document or audiovisual material.
I will start the job after receiving Purchase Order from your team (and also black and white agreement) and if you are a first time client, there is a possibility I required a deposit, depending on the job amount.
What is my rate?
Translation
Depending on the type of document, my rate is ranging from 0.10 - 0.15 USD/word.
For Malaysian clients, my rate will be RM 0.40 - RM 0.60/word.
Subtitling
Depending on the nature of the audio-visual content, my rate is ranging from 6 - 9 USD/minute.
What is my payment platform?
Currently, I am using Paypal as my main payment platform and can also opted for remittance.
As for my Malaysian clients, payment can be transfer to my Malaysian bank account and if you are a company, I have my own company bank account that can be used.
